My favorite article of clothing isn’t even my own-it’s my 4 1/2 year old daughter’s sweatshirt. When I found the sweater on clearance at Old Navy, I fell in love with it. It’s this somewhat loose fitting, cream colored sweater that is just long enough to wear with a pair of leggings. It is super soft on the inside and in black sparkly lettering splashed across the front it says so many adventures to begin. Whenever I see her wear it, it reminds me of the adventure that we’re embarking on in about 3 weeks. When we get to Paraguay, it will be winter there. Winters there are not so cold, but humid and wet, which makes what little cold weather they do have bite to the bone-which brings me back to Sofie’s sweater. If I had the shrink ray from “Honey I Shrunk the Kids”, I’d reverse the power setting and make her sweater big enough to wear over leggings with soft fuzzy slippers and then I would cuddle up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee and be lazy for a whole day. If.
